Baking in 96 Degree Heat

Ooooh - the heat has finally arrived.  Yesterday was quite the scorcher.  Afternoon cloudiness, however, did bring on a breeze and cool things off enough for me to sit a spell on the porch under the ceiling fan and sip on a Blue Moon. 

Got most of my fabric into their dye containers or zip bags.  Both work fine, I've found, and the zip bags are even handier for the smaller pieces, threads and ribbons.  I've got 16 different colors going here.  So these have baked in the heat for 24 hours now.  I am beginning the rinse-out today, which is the hardest part, and already I'm stopping for a tea break.  Sure wish I had some coffee cake.  Miss you Momma!  --cds
